CCChampions is a 1-to-1 network between over 6,000 professional athletes and children who have cancer. Through teamwork, we develop meaningful, long-term friendships over the course of cancer treatment.
At CCChampions, we believe that every child battling cancer is a true champion …and they deserve to be treated as just that! Our formula is simple:
1 child + 1 athlete = A team of Champions!
On May 4th, we had our first CCChampions Carnival at Hasbro Children’s Hospital to kickoff our Providence chapter! With over 80 volunteers and contributions from over 200 local community members, we included over 100 kids in the hospital in fun activities such as Disney a cappella, Jockapella, and meeting Paws (the Pawtucket Red Sox mascot)!
Feel free to share your experience with us and stay posted for pictures, stories, and other exciting updates!

“We have been dealing with his cancer for almost three years. Others have offered the athlete/celebrity meet-and-greet and it never seemed right. Never in our craziest dreams did we think we would meet such genuine, kind, and wholesome people.”
